Large Scale Commercial Interior Painting
Earl’s Paintworks was very proud to play a part in the buildout of this new Fit 4 Less gym project in Calgary.
This was a large scale, warehouse style commercial interior painting project that fits perfectly with our skilled crew of expert Calgary painters.
Included in the buildout was new construction painting on your typical oversize warehouse interior drywalled walls, steel truss ceilings and then office and locker areas throughout.
You might not think that much about what your warehouse looks like, but many people link a business’s appearance with that company’s reliability. If your warehouse is not properly maintained, you might end up losing your customers. On the other hand, you can send the right message to future and current customers with regular painting. It shows that you have a commitment to keeping your employees safe. Of course, painting the ceiling of your building can also increase its value.
By painting your warehouse’s ceiling with the right colour palette, you can lend a more unified look to it. We suggest looking for shades that blend well with your logo. For example, if you have light grey and intense orange, you could paint the walls or ceiling pale peach instead of white.
The colour choices for this project are all franchise based to keep continuity and uniformity.
It’s More Than Just Appearances
Of course you may treat finishing the interior of a warehouse storage space differently than a space like this that sees thousands of Gym goers but painting your ceiling and space doesn’t just transform the interior of of a business meant to appeal to customers. If you get a gloss or semi-gloss coat, you can increase the light reflectance by as much as 88 percent. One of the benefits of this is that it will propagate light around the entire facility. This becomes useful for safety and vision in working warehouses as well as places of business.
By making it brighter, it makes the area safer for your workers. It can also lower your electricity bills since you will not need to run as many lighting fixtures. A neat and clean environment promotes better morale, keeps employees upbeat and provides an image of organization and cleanliness.
